CAD/CAM : AutoCAD, Pro/E (Part Modeling, Surfacing, Assembly, Drafting, Sheet metal, Mould, Mechanica, Manufacturing), CATIA (Part Modeling, Surfacing, Assembly, Drafting), UG (Part Modeling, Surfacing, Assembly, Drafting & Manufacturing), Ansys (Structural & Thermal), Hypermesh (Shell Mesh & Solid Mesh), DelCAM (Power Shape & Power Mill), CNC Programming & Machining.
TOOL ENGG: GD & T, Design Practice, Materials & Heat Treatment, Metrology, Press tools, Plastic Mould Tools, Die Casting Dies, Cutting Tools, Jigs & Fixtures |

| 2). Mode of Selection : |
Selection of candidates through Entrance Test : Candidates will be selected through entrance test for PGDCTE.
Selection is purely based on merit in the written test conducted by CITD, Hyderabad. |

| 3). How to Apply : |
| Prescribed application form and prospectus (containing rules and syllabus for Entrance Examination) can be had from CAD/CAM Department, Central Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad - 500 037, by paying cash or a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (S.C/S.T candidates Rs. 100/-) drawn in favour of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank, Payable at Hyderabad. The S.C/S.T Category candidates need to enclose a copy of Cast Certificate attested by Gazetted officer. Applications can also be down loaded from our website www.citdindia.org and the filled in application forms can be sent to the Director, CITD (CAD/CAM), Central Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad - 500 037 along with Demand Draft as mentioned above. |

| 4). Note : |
| i) |
Candidates appearing for final year Degree Examination can also apply provided they secure a final pass in the qualifying exam at the time of the admission and they should produce the proof of passing the examination well before the finalization of admissions. |
| ii) |
Reservation for S.C/S.T category is considered as per Govt. of India rules. |
| iii) |
The seats advertised are provisional and the Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the no. of seats. |
| iv) |
The rules made by the Institute regarding selection and closure of the admissions shall be final and the Institute reserve the right to alter, vary, change and / or modify the rules governing the admissions. |
